Case Studies
Case Study: Mr Keogh
Mr Keogh contacted Rod at Dunbyus to ask for help and advice on turning his 1960's kitchen into a modern, easily maintained, bright and airy space, using a natural wood finish.
Our concept was to use easy clean gull wing doors in a light beech, coupled with light coloured work surfaces and toning tiles to create a bright but warm room.
Dunbyus arranged all aspects of the transformation, including fitting the kitchen units and appliances, remedial plasterwork, installing an outside tap and replacing old solid doors to the hall and dining room with new 15 pane glass doors.
Mr Keogh is delighted with his new kitchen and has since returned to Dunbyus for help with other home improvements.
Case Study: Mrs Stevenson
Mrs Stevenson felt that a shower room would be more suitable for her needs than a traditional bathroom and had admired the fitted furniture in a neighbour's shower room.
Dunbyus were able to formulate a design incorporating a spacious 'p' shaped shower enclosure and fitted furniture in a warm but bright pear wood finish.
The look was completed with warm beige tiles with a mosaic detail and a white ceiling with a mirror inset strips and down-lighters.
The end result is a shower room which is stylish, easy to clean and spacious and comfortable to use.
